With our new global format “Trilligent Tech Talks”, we are bringing innovative minds together to discuss trending tech topics, policy issues, and challenges in the industry.
The European Union’s Artificial Intelligence Act (EU AI Act) is the most recent government attempt at regulating fast-paced technological innovations and the risks that arise from them. As the first comprehensive governance framework to deal with AI technologies, it raised multiple questions for both established companies and startups regarding its implementation.

Dr. Fabrizio Palmas is a leading expert on XR corporate training and immersive experiences. In addition to being the creative director of the Munich-based XR training startup Straightlabs, he is a founding member of XR Bavaria e.V. and a member of the advisory board of the TUM Center for Educational Technologies. Fabrizio regularly publishes in leading journals on topics such as AI and gamification.
Siyanna Lilova is the co-founder and CEO of CuratedAI, a Brussels-based startup offering AI assistants for privacy and IT law professionals. She is also the co-founder and project coordinator of Digital Republic, a Bulgarian NGO working to protect digital rights and free access to information. Previously, Siyanna worked as a lawyer, advising clients on data protection, IP and cybersecurity law after a stint at the European Commission.
Lusine Petrosyan is a consultant in Trilligent’s Brussels office, where she advises technology companies on policy issues ranging from AI to geopolitics. Recently, she also co-authored an article on Trilligent’s “Forum”, providing a comparative analysis of the EU AI Act and the US Executive Order on AI. Prior to joining Trilligent, Lusine worked for DIGITALEUROPE.
Following the panel discussion, we will host a networking session with other representatives from startups, the media, and the public sector, accompanied by drinks and snacks. We look forward to engaging conversations, opinion sharing and provoking questions.
